Registered Dental Hygienist

Ferguson Creative Dentistry of Nashville is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join their team on a Monday – Thursday, 6:45 – 3:00 schedule. The office is in Nashville’s Midtown Hospital District near Vanderbilt University’s main campus and Pinnacle Bank, off West End and Elliston Place. Creative Dentistry provides sedation services provides sedation dental services for Availity, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Delta Dental, DentaQuest, United Concordia, United Healthcare, ECF CHOICES, TennCare, and TN DIDD Waiver. Creative Dentistry routinely cares for guests with special needs ranging from high anxiety to full paralysis (Ages 6 and older).
As a Dental Hygienist, this person will be responsible for various hygiene responsibilities, including operatory prep, patient familiarization, and ensuring patients are properly scheduled for everything they need and are eligible for. This person will also be performing routine hygiene services and procedures, administering local anesthesia, focusing on patient reactivation, as well as assisting with various needs and responsibilities around the practice.

Requirements:
- Valid Dental Hygienist certification in good standing with the state of TN
- Graduate from an accredited school of Dental Hygiene
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to comply with safety procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain a clean and safe working environment for patients and fellow staff
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience scanning with SureSmile or Invisalign
- Experience with Whitening product application
- Nitrous Oxide Certification
- Additional Hygienist-relevant Certifications
